Our Story
Women of Worth Recovery Inc. offers faith-based sober living homes in beautiful Tampa, Florida, just minutes from the Gulf Coast. WOW Recovery provides a structured, Christ-centered residential environment for women seeking lasting recovery from alcohol and drug addiction—one day at a time.
We support residents in developing and maintaining a deep, personal relationship with the Lord while engaging in 12-step recovery, Bible study, and faith-based support. Guided by the Holy Spirit and the spiritual principles of the 12 Steps, we believe long-term sobriety is attainable.
WOW’s faith-based sober living model is intentionally holistic. In addition to recovery programming, we offer case management and practical support to help residents meet personal goals, including preparation for permanent housing.
We understand that transitioning into sober living can bring fear and uncertainty, and our mission is to walk alongside each woman with compassion, structure, and encouragement as she begins this new chapter.

Our Mission
WOW Recovery provides 24-hour on-site management, ensuring residents have consistent access to staff support whenever challenges arise. We also assist with job placement to help residents build stability and independence in their recovery journey.
WOW Recovery Homes is a structured, faith-based sober living community for women seeking to maintain sobriety. Centered on the mercy and forgiveness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, our homes offer an ordered yet compassionate environment where women can heal from the devastating effects of addiction.
We recognize that addressing the wreckage of the past can be overwhelming, which is why we are called to walk alongside those in recovery by fostering a loving Christian community that supports 12-step recovery, spiritual growth, and healthy, sober activities that renew the mind and strengthen the spirit.
Meet the Founder
Hi, my name is Nancy Young and I am the founder of Women of Worth Recovery Inc. I have been in recovery since July 2014. I have overcome addiction and alcoholism by the grace of God and the help of wonderful people within the Tampa Bay community. Throughout my journey, I found an essential key to my recovery which was helping other women find freedom from the grips of addiction and decided to pursue going to school and getting my degree to better assist them along the way. I recently graduated from Saint Leo University with my Masters in Social Work and have been developing a program through my sober living homes. I am discovering new and innovative ways to help each woman who comes through these doors. I have found that this challenge has been an absolute blessing to me and it has shown me how to respect each woman and her need for healing. We all carry a story of hope and here at WoW Recovery we cultivate this through the recovery process. I couldn’t be happier serving these women and giving back to this community. All of this would not be possible without God’s favor and I want to thank Him for His guidance in this endeavor and hope to see this recovery community grow to help many more in the future.
