Our Story
Woman of Worth Recovery Inc has Faith-Based Sober Living homes in beautiful Tampa, FL. We are only miles from the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. At WOW Recovery, we provide a solution for those struggling to stay sober from alcohol and drug addiction. We are a structured Christian-centered residence for people seeking permanent recovery, one day at a time. We also encourage and assist our residents in developing and maintaining a deep and meaningful relationship with the Lord. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the spiritual principles outlined in the 12-Step process of recovery, long-term sobriety can become a reality.

WOW’s Faith-Based Sober Living is a unique approach that we offer. We attend Bible studies in addition to the 12-step programs and offer case management to ensure that goals are met. We understand that a foundation in faith is essential for permanent sobriety. We offer a wide array of Sober Living services for our residents, including the next step, which is obtaining permanent housing. We understand when someone is transitioning to sober living, they can be full of anxiety or fear of the unknown because they are starting a new chapter of their life. We at WOW Recovery are here to help you or your loved one transition as smoothly as possible.

Our Mission
WOW Recovery offers 24 hour on-site management for our residents. They will always have full access to our staff if any problems arise. In addition, we offer assistance with job placement and transportation to meetings.

WOW Recovery Homes, a Christian halfway house for women seeking to stay sober, is a structured, faith-based sober living residence centered on the mercy and forgiveness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Addiction is a serious illness that ravages the lives of countless victims. Only through God’s grace can many stay sober one day at a time. However, clearing up the wreckage of the past can be difficult and disheartening. This is why we believe that our calling is to serve those struggling to stay sober by providing an ordered yet loving community that encourages 12-step recovery, a relationship with god, and fun, sober activities that strengthen the spirit.
Meet the Founder
Hi, my name is Nancy Young and I am the founder of Women of Worth Recovery Inc. I have been in recovery since July 2014. I have overcome addiction and alcoholism by the grace of God and the help of wonderful people within the Tampa Bay community. Throughout my journey, I found an essential key to my recovery which was helping other women find freedom from the grips of addiction and decided to pursue going to school and getting my degree to better assist them along the way. I recently graduated from Saint Leo University with my Masters in Social Work and have been developing a program through my sober living homes. I am discovering new and innovative ways to help each woman who comes through these doors. I have found that this challenge has been an absolute blessing to me and it has shown me how to respect each woman and her need for healing. We all carry a story of hope and here at WoW Recovery we cultivate this through the recovery process. I couldn’t be happier serving these women and giving back to this community. All of this would not be possible without God’s favor and I want to thank Him for His guidance in this endeavor and hope to see this recovery community grow to help many more in the future.
